Not vaguely intimidated by his graduation to the elite British Thundersport ‘GP1’ class, or the step up to the biggest bike racing has to offer (1000cc), Adam was part of the leading breakaway pack from the off in each of his three races. Subsequently, he ended up on the podium every time, securing two second places and a third, which lands him in second position in the Championship after round one.
Of course, Adam is a fierce competitor and he’s never happy with anything less than first. However, he’s satisfied that he played it wisely on the Scruffs Racing Team ZX10R and bagged lots of points from the off. As a result Adam’s a lot more savvy about the bike and what he can do on it, which bodes well for the next round of racing at Donington Park on the weekend of 11th and 12th April. Make no doubt about it - he’ll be gunning for first place!
